Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Drawings, the Architect then prepares Design Development Documents.
The Design Development Documents further illustrate the development of the approved Schematic Design by means of plans, sections, elevations, and typical construction details, in order to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and such other elements as may be appropriate.
Prior to the conclusion of the Design Development Phase, the Architect submits the Design Development documents to the Owner and the Cost Consultant for review.
