Pink Shell Beach Resort

The developer of Pink Shell had grand plans for turning a site with several small cottages into a flagship for both the resort and the town of Fort Myers Beach. McCormack developed a 10-story, 92-unit hotel with administrative offices, conference space, grand lobby, restaurant, outdoor lounge, 6,000-square-foot spa, fitness facility and expansive outdoor pool and deck. The exterior faНade used horizontal siding, stucco, Bahama shutters and pre-cast ornamentation to capture an island feel. The rooms offer unique geometry and include kitchens, floor-toceiling glass off the living spaces that allow full views of the Gulf of Mexico, beaches and barrier islands. The outcome has delighted the developer, local residents and guests alike, elevating Estero Island as a tourist destination.
